Weber 32/36 Fuel Inlet Thread Size. Hey everyone, i have an 84 cj with the 258 and i have purchased a weber 32/36 carb for it. Some guys have spun their 32/36 around 180 degrees to put the fuel inlet on the fuel line side. This is my first weber install and i was. Put a piece of rubber fuel hose on the return line, coil it up a couple rounds & zip tie. I don't think the weber 32/36's offer a fuel return, so i don't think you can hook it up. Not sure why weber does not option this. Having spent a bit of time googling it the only references to the threads on weber inlets are m12 for the banjo inlets on side drafts and down drafts such as the idf. There are many 32/36 weber’s with female threads with the exact same thread pitch and diameter on both sides of the cover. This may be a dumb question, but what size is the fuel inlet on the standard weber 32/36 dgv? And the best idle occurring with the mixture screw set at 3 turns from bottom,. With the speed screw set at no more than (1 1/2) turns in after contact with the stop lever; Mine is not rotated in that manner.
